Deadpool #9 brings Bullseye into the hunt for a powerful weapon as Wade Wilson and the Punisher’s “Big Guns” crossover reaches its third chapter. Marvel’s Wade Wilson: Deadpool issue is listed for release on October 14, 2026, with Benjamin Percy writing and Geoff Shaw illustrating.

The publisher’s description, reproduced by Penguin Random House Comics Retail, places Deadpool and Frank Castle in competition with Black Hole over the same weapon. Bullseye’s arrival adds another contender to a story already built around clashing agendas.

The issue carries a $4.99 U.S. cover price, runs 32 pages and is rated T+, according to the distributor’s official issue listing. The preview establishes the setup without revealing the completed chapter’s outcome.

Deadpool #9 Adds Bullseye to the Big Guns Conflict

“Big Guns” is a four-part crossover alternating between Wade Wilson: Deadpool and Punisher. It began with Wade Wilson: Deadpool #8 on September 2, followed by Punisher #8 on September 9.

Both series are written by Percy. Shaw handles the Deadpool side, while José Luis Soares illustrates the Punisher chapters, giving the crossover a continuing writer across its two titles.

In the earlier crossover announcement, Percy explained that he wanted a third major player alongside Wade and Frank. He identified Bullseye’s unpredictable behavior and precision as reasons for bringing the character into the conflict.

The announcement also introduced the Merc Mobile as Wade’s new vehicle and base of operations. Josemaria Casanovas’ connecting covers extend that vehicle across the crossover’s four issues.

What the Released Preview Pages Show

Comic Watch’s gallery includes the main cover, a recap-and-credits page and four interior story pages. The main cover places Bullseye in the foreground, with Deadpool and Punisher reflected in the lenses of his weapons.

The recap identifies the sought-after device as a Time Gun and places the preceding conflict at a decommissioned S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. It also explains that the Badpools helped draw the Punisher into pursuing Wade.

The interior pages move into a S.H.I.E.L.D. vault, where Deadpool and Punisher fight while the weapon becomes part of the confrontation. Large action panels and smaller exchanges present the encounter from several angles.

These observations concern the released preview. They do not establish who ultimately controls the weapon or how Bullseye’s role develops across the complete issue.

Creative Team and Variant Covers

The credits page names Alex Sinclair as color artist and VC’s Joe Sabino as letterer. Geoff Shaw and Sinclair receive the main-cover credits alongside Percy’s script and Shaw’s interior artwork.

The cover lineup includes alternatives by Klaus Janson, Josemaria Casanovas, Gurihiru and Tyler Kirkham. Penguin Random House’s listings identify the Casanovas edition as a four-part connecting variant and the Kirkham edition as an incentive variant.

The displayed editions take different visual approaches. The Janson image features Deadpool and Punisher exchanging fire, while the connecting artwork centers on the Merc Mobile. Gurihiru’s cover presents small, stylized versions of Wade in a decorative illustrated scene.

Kirkham’s cover places Deadpool and Punisher in a confrontation above the vehicle. These are alternative cover presentations for the issue, rather than separate chapters in the reading order.

Release Details and the Next Crossover Chapter

Deadpool #9 is the third installment, not the finale. The next chapter is Punisher #9, listed for October 28, 2026, with Percy writing, Soares illustrating and David Marquez providing the main cover.

The distributor’s description for that issue places Deadpool and Punisher in Black Hole’s trap, with Bullseye and the Badpools pursuing their own moves. It presents the issue as the crossover’s concluding chapter.

Punisher #9 is also listed at 32 pages and $4.99 U.S., with a T+ rating. Its scheduled release is two weeks after Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9, completing the four-part September-to-October sequence.
