How to request a correction
Send the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, an explanation of the issue and supporting evidence to info@hourlytimes.com.
What happens next
Our editorial team reviews the request and the underlying reporting. We may contact the requester, author or relevant sources for more information. A correction request does not automatically require a change, but every specific, evidence-based request receives a fair review.
How corrections appear
- Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note when the meaning is unchanged.
- Substantive factual corrections are explained in a dated note on the article.
- Clarifications identify language that was accurate but incomplete or unclear.
- Material updates are labeled when new reporting significantly changes the story.
- Social posts containing a consequential error are corrected or removed when appropriate.
Transparency
